A Good Word

Proverbs 12:25

“Anxiety in the heart of a man weighs it down, but a good word makes it glad.”

What is worrying you today? What are you facing that seems to overwhelmingly be consuming your every thought?  Are you so broken hearted that your anxiousness to feel happy again is crushing your spirit of hope? Well, the Lord says it is in times like these that we are to share a good word to lighten your heart and make it glad again. So my dearly beloved, here are the good words I want to share with you today.  They are God’s words, He is good and He loves you.  So as you read the following scriptures know that they are just what you need, because it is the Lord, Himself, who has placed upon my heart the words I am to share with you today; a good word to take away your anxiety and to make your heard glad.

I Peter 5:7

“Casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.”

Philippians 4:19

“And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”

I Corinthians 15:57-58

“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.  Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil in not in vain in the Lord.”

Matthew 10:19-20

“But when they deliver you up, do not become anxious about how or what you will speak; for it shall be given you in that hour what you are to speak.  For it is not you who speak, but it is the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.”

Matthew 11:28-30

“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.  Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you shall find rest for your souls.  For My yoke is easy, and My load is light.”

John 16:33

“Theses things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace.  In the world you have tribulation, but take courage, I have overcome the world.”

Father, I pray we receive Your good words today to encourage us and make our hearts glad again. In Jesus name, Amen
